State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill could increase revenue to the Commerce Service Fund by $3,000 annually as revenue is generated from the certified copies provided. Costs to the Commerce Department to provide certified copies and answer inquiries could be $5,100 annually. Spending from the Commerce Service Fund affects annual transfers to the General Fund.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Individuals asserting another individual is in violation of the law by use of a name registered with the Division of Commercial Code will pay $12 to obtain a certified copy. An estimated 250 individuals could apply for the certified copy.
