State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill could create additional workload for: 1. Courts - $1,331,100 - for judge/clerk time and jury expenses, 2. Attorney General - $950,200 - for attorney representation, and 3. Guardian ad Litem - $787,400 - for attorney representation Totaling $3,068,700 ongoing from the General Fund beginning in FY 2015. In addition, enactment of this bill may cost the Guardian ad Litem about $33,000 one-time from the General Fund for office equipment. This bill may also generate about $36,000 in ongoing General Fund revenue.
