HB0424 - Justice Court Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill amends the term of justice court judges from six to four years. Justice court judge evaluations will also change from six to four years. The approximate cost to the Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission is $126,000 ongoing from the General Fund beginning in FY 2015 for 1.25 FTEs to perform courtroom observations, content analyses, attorney surveys, and on-site surveys for justice court judges.
