State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill appropriates $1.5 million ongoing from the Education Fund beginning in FY 2015 as follows: Utah Education Network - $345,000, State Board of Education - $355,000, Utah College of Applied Technology - $245,000, State Board of Regents - $245,000, and the Utah Education Policy Center (at the University of Utah) - $310,000. The bill also appropriates $300,000 one-time from the Education Fund in FY 2015 to the Utah Education Network. Money appropriated in the bill is to support a statewide data system for public education, higher education, and the work force.
