SB0047S03 - Emergency Management Act Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill could forgo tax revenue from out-of-state companies and individuals when disasters/emergencies are declared.

Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Due to the sales tax and ad valorem exemptions, local taxing entities could forgo sales tax or property tax revenue from out-of-state companies when disasters/emergencies are declared.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Individuals and businesses could see a decrease in tax liability when doing disaster work during declared emergencies.
