SB0055 - Pharmaceutical Dispensing Amendments

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Enactment of this bill could increase revenue to the Commerce Service Fund by $187,800 annually as an estimated 1,067 pharmacists and 352 pharmacy facilities pay license fees under the provisions of the bill. Costs to the Department of Commerce to implement the regulatory functions required in the bill would be $153,500 annually and one-time expenditures of $18,400 in FY 2015. Spending from the Commerce Service Fund affects annual transfers to the General Fund.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
An estimated 1,067 pharmacists could pay a license fee of $110. Additionally, 352 pharmacy facilities are expected to pay a facility fee of $200 for dispensing.
