Dear Moms and Dads:

The Leonardo has a terrific summer camp experience designed to excite restless bodies and curious minds.  Did you know?: Your kids can learn how a fish swims and see a real hawk swoop. Your teens can build robots, direct a performance, even create (legal!) street art alongside community artists.  For an experience that’s anything but “whatever, “  your kids will explore art, science, and technology in a fresh, active and interactive way.  Visit www.theleonardo.org/camps to see our programming schedule.  Leo Members receive 10% off!

ANIMAL INSIDE OUT Public Programs

A BODY WORLDS PRODUCTION

ANIMAL INSIDE OUT provides the theme for one of many special programs offered this summer. From May through September we'll feature programs that are quixotic, exotic and just plain fun.  Each will be based around a different monthly theme and feature film screenings, expert talks, and interactive activities for kids and adults. Enjoy on your own or bring family and friends-- most of these programs are FREE.

We spend our days staring at the cool blue glow of an electronic screen. Our smartphones have become our safety blankets and even toddlers are growing fluent in the icon-language and touch interface of tablets. As our communications become increasingly wireless, what is happening to the "wiring" of our brains? Have we become addicted to electronic connectivity? Are we losing the ability to form face-to-face human bonds? Get curious, ask questions and join the conversation as we

explore the short term and long term impact of digital connectivity.

Thursday, May 29th
6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
