Karamah's Annual Community Iftar


On July 20, Karamah will hold its Annual Community Iftar. The iftar will celebrate the Muslim holy month with a festive dinner, great conversation, and good company. Prior to the iftar, KARAMAH will be hosting a special panel on Exposing the Truth of US Torture: Restoring Human Dignity, co-sponsored by The Constitution Project.


Die-In at the White House for Gaza


Palestinian Flag Today, a "Die-In" will be held at the White House in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. With over 170 Palestinians murdered in Gaza and over 1,200 injured, Americans will stand in solidarity with Gazans and hold the U.S. government accountable for providing the Israeli government $3.1 billion annually. Volunteers are needed.


American Third Pillar Charities Annual Iftar


Iftar Dinners On July 17, American Third Pillar Charities will hold its Annual Iftar. As they highlight the work of their volunteers, this year marks Third Pillar's push to establish a food bank in Ward 7, Washington DC. Over the past year, Third Pillar Volunteers have logged more that 500 hours, preparing over 2500 hot meals for needy folks in DC.
