The Open Payments data correction period will be ending soon. As noted in a previous communication, the correction period began on September 15 and would last for a minimum of 15 days. During this time, applicable manufacturers and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) have the opportunity to acknowledge and resolve disputes initiated by physicians and teaching hospitals.
Note: It is up to the applicable manufacturer or GPO to work directly with the physician or teaching hospital to resolve any disputes. CMS is not responsible for mediating disputes.
Instructions for the Data Correction Process
Applicable manufacturers and GPOs can find step-by-step instructions regarding the data correction process below. Additional information and resources can be found on the Dispute and Resolution page on the Open Payments website.
