Subject: FW: June Monthly Update
Date: Mon Jun 02 23:39:34 MDT 2014
I missed one of our individual volunteer award winners. Herb Mayes – outstanding service as a volunteer working on facilities and range restoration projects on the Forest.
Here is the update for the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache for June. We are at the beginning of our field season, so things are getting busy. Everyone is getting out on the Forest for all their summer recreation. Please be safe as you get out in the woods and if you have any questions about what is going on you can check our website or subscribe to our Twitter feed. Thanks. Dave

The real substance of conservation lies not in the physical projects of the government, but in the mental processes of the citizens. . . . All acts of government, in short, are of slight importance to conservation except as they affect the acts and thoughts of citizens. Aldo Leopold
