Subject: Public Lands Debate at the Salt Lake City Library
Date: Tue May 13 21:46:49 MDT 2014
Body:

We just got this from the American Lands Council and thought we would pass it on to you. This will be a VERY informative debate if you haven't heard of the Transfer of Public Lands Act and we strongly urge you to attend. Get there as early as you can so you can represent the opinions of YOU and your family. Be there to educate yourself and represent your interests. USA-ALL will have a rep there and our other program The County Seat will be taping the debate.

The following is a copy of an email we received,

"As you are most likely aware, American Lands Council President Ken Ivory and Utah Speaker of the House Becky Lockhart have been asked to participate in a debate on the Transfer of Public Lands hosted by the Salt Lake Tribune. The debate will be held on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00 pm MST at the Salt Lake City Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. We want as many people as can to attend this debate live to ensure that the audience is filled with respectful people who are truly engaged in this topic.

For those of you close enough to attend, the address of this debate is 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. The auditorium opens at 6, but the public won't be admitted until 6:15 p.m. with all attendees seated by 6:45 p.m. (the live broadcast will begin at 7 p.m.).

If you are unable to attend, Live streaming audio and video will be available at sltrib.com. Please share this information with your contacts.

Among the other debaters will be Former Clinton Administration BLM Director Pat Shea. You can watch a previous encounter of Ken Ivory and Pat Shea on TribTalk here. This is debate has already drawn national attention so this is going to be a tremendous opportunity to educate and get our message out!

We hope to see you at the debate!

Becky Ivory
Director of Communications
