Samsung's S1 Corporation, a global provider of security systems and integration, and Vidsys, a major provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), have announced a strategic partnership agreement. S1, an affiliate of Samsung Group, is adopting VidSys as its exclusive go-to-market PSIM platform for security integration and critical infrastructure protection in support of key projects around the world.


Redwood Shores, CA-based Lastline, Inc., a provider of advanced malware defense technology for enterprise networks, has announced that WatchGuard Technologies has joined the Lastline Defense Program to combat advanced malware targeting businesses.

Penn State is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its online homeland security master's degree program. In honor of the celebration, the university plans to update the program's curriculum by working closely with the Homeland Security Advisory Council, which includes emergency management professionals and employees from the DHS, to develop new content.
