Representative Lifferth,

I am writing to ask that you please vote YES on HB 81 and pass it out of committee. This bill will help to protect parental rights by allowing any parent to participate in the review process for the new SAGE (Common Core) tests. The contract with the vendor AIR recommends that test questions be reviewed by at least 100 parents, not just 15 which is the current number approved. If the State continues to insist that Common Core be implemented, in any form or amount (and despite LARGE opposition from Parents like myself) the very least it could do is pass this bill which will allow for more Parental involvement and hopefully transparency. Please vote Yes on this bill.

Thank you for your time.

Claire B.
