Subject: HB-96 (Please oppose)
Date: Thu Feb 06 05:58:34 MST 2014
Body:
I am a Utah resident, a retired school teacher, a parent of eleven, and a concerned grandfather of forty-six; most of them current or future students in Utah public schools.  I plead with you to oppose HB-96.   It is intrusive, invasive into Utah families' privacy, and supports an agenda in which the "state" prematurely reduces the influence of parents in the lives of their most vulnerable children.  Study after study has demonstrated that preschool yields no lasting advantage to students and is an unjustifiable burden on taxpayers.  Thanks, Richard Lynn Higginson, Bountiful  801-292-6484
