Subject: "Utah Cares" is an oxymoron
Date: Mon Mar 09 14:35:02 MDT 2015
Body:
Good morning Republican Representatives,

Jim Dunnigan's "Utah Cares" Medicaid expansion plan is an oxymoron. Utah doesn't care about the medical needs of its poorest citizens. Dunnigan's plan costs more and covers fewer people. How on earth can this plan be better than Healhty Utah? And why am I bothering to even send an email begging you to pass the Healthy Utah plan?

I am disappointed in every one of you who believes "Utah Cares" and "Frail Utah" are good for Utah. Some of you don't want any Medicaid expansion at all. How heartless of you to deny the poorest in our state the medical care everyone with a pulse should have.

March 12 can't arrive soon enough for me. The last 40 days have been frustrating listening to you debate the state gun for another year in a row, the state dog, Bitcoin and several other idiotic issues you think are important. The LGBTQ anti-discrimination issue was important. Thanks for passing that piece of legislation. It only took more than 5 years for that to pass.

The most important issue this session was Medicaid Expansion. Unfortunately it seems thousands of Utahns are going to be shafted again this year because you refuse to expand Medicaid.

Thanks for nothing.
