Subject: OPPOSE HB0223

I previously wrote the members of the business and labor committee regarding this bill.  Apparently a majority of those individuals do not perceive this bill to be a violation of local community rights--or they do not care.  I presume I am talking about a simple majority and not necessarily a supermajority, which is being proposed as necessary as part of HB0223.  What would get accomplished if a supermajority was required for all bills?

Additionally, who changes past rulings for current events?  Two areas in Yalecrest are in the process of applying to be LHDs.  I don't know whether this would occur--my particular area voted no--but certainly it is the right of the people in these communities to continue this process according to statute.

What other laws will be changed ----retroactively?
