Dear Representatives-

I come before you as a 2014 State School Board candidate. After having been through the process myself, I can unequivocally say that our election process for school boards here in Utah is broken, and I believe partisan elections is the answer.

Read my story here:

-The selection process and non partisan races do not allow for proper candidate vetting
-Education is already political, let's have some transparency on candidates values and viewpoints
-The current process was ruled unconstitutional by Judge Waddoups
-Those candidates in the public school system have used school district and interoffice emails for campaign purposes. This will continue unless a candidate is accountable to the people.
_ let the power to vote be vested in the people, not in the Governor.

Thank you!
