Representative,

Please vote YES on SB 104, for partisan school board elections, and NO on HB 305, HJR 16, HB 297, HB 342, and HB 186.

I believe if we had partisan elections, we wouldn't be in the position we are in currently where parents are so disatisfied with the direction Utah education is going. At least with partisan elections, we can get an answer out of candidates about their stand on key issues. At least with partisan elections, board members would feel more beholden to the electorate when we want to provide input on education. With board members appointed by the governer, we only end up people who think like him and he does not represent my views on education.

Thank you,
Nate Thomasa
