Subject: Vote "NO" on HB96 "Utah School Readiness Initiative"

I am asking you to vote no on continuing HB96, Utah School Readiness Initiative, for multiple reasons.  I've listed the top 3 blow.

1) In 2010, the Obama administration's aggressive plan to have children start education an early age.  From the official http://www.ed.gov/early-learning website,  ""The Obama administration has proposed new investments that will establish a continuum of high-quality early learning for children beginning at birth and continuing to age five."  As President Obama's socialistic, anti-constitutional measures go forward, turning my children over to government programs, where parents rights are being continuously threatened, does not put at ease for any programs Utah would provide.

2) The bill calls for schools to collect longitudinal data on children which
fits perfectly into the Common Core P20W database Utah has created. (P20W is preschool through grade 20 and into the workforce for tracking everyone)

             84          (4) "Eligible LEA" means an LEA that has a data
system capacity to collect
             85      longitudinal academic outcome data, including special
education use by student, by identifying
             86      each student with a statewide unique student
identifier.

This collecting of data violates my right as a parent in protecting my child, as well as my 4th Amendment rights. As elected officials you swore an oath to protect the rights of the citizens, including children, under the Constitution and not a share holders pocket book nor the Federal government's need to collect data.  Protect our children!

3) The Institute of Marriage and Family has shown that early education does
NOT benefit children and they should actually begin school later rather than
earlier.

Also, according to the Center of the Developing Child at Harvard University, "Science shows that early exposure to circumstances that produce persistent fear and chronic anxiety can have lifelong consequences by disrupting the developing architecture of the brain"  While we all think of abuse and traumatic situations, having a child separated away from its immediate care giver, ie: mother, father, grandparent, can have significant anxiety on a child and will produce consequences that will out way any academic progress that might be achieved.
