Dear Representative, I am an education consultant in the states of Utah and Wyoming. We focus on ipad training for schools and teachers. I am and ipad advocate! But, it would be ridiculous to put an ipad in the hands of every student. It is unnecessary, and you must know the teachers in this state don't know how to use them for much other than games and personal use. Put that aside and understand that any student in the elementary grades does not need to have them 1:1.The teachers ipad is necessary, an ipad cart or two for an elementary, middle and high schools is more than sufficient. I would hate to see such fiscal irresponsibility allocating funds to put an ipad in the hand of each student in Utah. Your time is better spent on helping our teachers learn how to use them in differentiated instruction first. Thank you. Molly Foster
