Representatives--

I am writing to ask you to please vote "Yes" on HB 228.

I am a parent, raising my children here in Utah. I have been very disturbed by the changes brought about by the Common Core--and those who brought it upon us, without our having any voice in the decision. Surely, people who have so much control over the education of our children should be accountable to us--the parents of those children. We should not be forced to feel so helpless about these decisions we don't agree with. The State School Board needs to be accountable to the people of Utah. The parents need to have some voice in the education of their children.

Please, do something to give that voice back to the parents, grandparents, and others who have a more personal interest in what is best for the children in Utah. Please, vote YES on HB 228.

Thank you for listening,
Libby Sharp
