Body:

Dear Honorable Representative on the Education Committee:

I strongly encourage you to pass HB 228 by Rep. Brian Greene on state board of education election reform. I support partisan elections, because it would allow a more representative government.

The school board has about half the number of members than the number of state senators and they control over half the state budget. That is a lot of power and they need to be held accountable to the people (including parents, educators).

Sincerely,

Chris Jolley
