Dear Representative,

I ask that you vote to pass HB 228 on education elections out of committee. I support this bill because under the present system there is no way to get representation on the state school board. Example: if you want to run for a state school board position, you put your name in with other people and then everyone running gets interviewed by the governor's committee. The first question you will get asked is " What do you think of Common Core?" If you say you don't agree with or like it, you get bumped out of the race. The last board race is a good example of this.
Please help my voice to be represented by someone who does not agree with or support Common Core.
Thankyou for any help you can give in behalf of my voice.

Sincerely,

Elise Williams
