Dear House Education Committee Members,

Please vote Yes on HB 228

I don’t like the direction of our educational system!  I am an educator myself and am troubled at the Common Core Ideas.  I don’t appreciate the federal programs and the control they are having over our local belief systems.  I understand that the State School Board voted on allowing the Common Core to push through.  Who appoints these people anyway?  I don’t feel as if they represent the voice of the majority!  People voted to the State School Board should be elected in the same way that other representatives are.  Shouldn’t the people understand the philosophies towards education that each of these individuals has?

Thank You for your time,

Nate Pack
