To whom it may concern,

Please do not pass HB 131 out of committee. This bill defies the conservative values of the people of the State of Utah. It is a waste of money and an attack on decent privacy and parental rights.

I don't believe it is anyone's best interest to put a government sanctioned porn portal in my 15 year old son's hands. Dr. Charles Knutson, a well respected authority on pornography and citizen of the State of Utah, has stated and written many times about the extremely poor judgement which places these devices into the hands of youth. This bill proposes to put them in youth hands, going around the natural parental controls that might protect these youth. Please don't make this mistake!

This is not modernization. It is a proposal to pour hard-earned tax payer money into Pandora's box, to the detriment of our youth, families, and communities.

Sincerely,
--
