Utah Foundation Research Update
Elevating Student Achievement: Successful Education Policies and Practices in Utah's Peer States
In 2010, Utah Foundation published research on the educational performance of Utah and its demographic and economic peer states. That study has prompted much discussion about how Utah can reclaim its place among these high-performing states.

Today we release a new study describing common themes in education polices and practices of the peer states (Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota) and two benchmark states (Massachusetts and New Jersey). This work was designed to inform the Legislature's Education Task Force on policies that are likely to succeed in boosting Utah's educational achievement.

Also, if you haven't yet seen our recent survey of high school graduates, click the link at right. We think you'll find both reports informative and useful.
