Kind Sirs,

 

As State Senators representing my county, I am asking you to support any measure that will help defend Amendment 3.  I voted to support Amendment 3 when it was on the ballot.  I did that with purpose and reason.  I would like my vote, along with the rest of votes which allowed that Amendment to pass, to count.  I would like my state to be a place where my ideals and values are represented in the laws.  I believe my fellow voters each believe the same.  Please do not let a judge strip us of our voting power.  Do not let someone who does not understand the scientific studies, which show that marriage between a man and woman is the basis of the best possible outcome for the future generations of Utahns, erode the foundation our state has created.
