APPROPRIATION FOR WEBER COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS
1997 GENERAL SESSION

AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $500,000 FROM THE
GENERAL FUND FOR 1997-98 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN OUTDOOR ARENA
AT THE WEBER COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Appropriation.
There is appropriated $500,000 from the General Fund for fiscal year 1997-98 to the
Department of Community and Economic Development for use in construction of an outdoor arena
at the Weber County Fairgrounds, to help fulfill the statewide public need for facilities that attract
tourism and encourage economic growth.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
