HIGHWAY PATROL - COMPUTER PURCHASE

5 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $460,000 FROM THE
6 GENERAL FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 TO THE UTAH HIGHWAY PATROL
7 DIVISION FOR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR FIELD TROOPERS; AND PROVIDING
8 AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 1997-98 $460,000 to the Utah
13 Highway Patrol Division of the Department of Public Safety to provide computer equipment,
14 hardware, software, maintenance, and training for field troopers.
15 Section 2. Effective date.
16 This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
