The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 250, COLLECTION OF DEFAULTED OR DELINQUENT STUDENT LOANS, by Representative O. Carnahan, with the following amendments:
Page 1, Lines 1-2: After "DEFAULTED" delete "OR DELINQUENT"
Page 1, Lines 9-10: After "DEFAULTED" delete "OR DELINQUENT"
Page 2, Line 17: After "collecting" delete "delinquent"
Page 2, Line 18: At the beginning of line 18, delete "or" and after "this chapter" delete the rest of line 18.
Page 2, Lines 19-20: Delete lines 19 and 20 and insert: ". The information obtained under Subsection (10) shall be limited to the employer's name, address, and telephone number for borrowers who have defaulted on a student loan held by the Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority."
