LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX FOR CONSERVATION EASEMENTS FOR AGRICULTURAL USE

Representative Hatch proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 2, Line 17: After Line 17 insert:
"(iii) a requirement that unless the grantor and the holder of a conservation easement agree to an earlier termination date in the instrument that creates the conservation easement, a conservation easement acquired under this section shall continue for a time period not exceeding the greater of:
(A) the remainder of the grantor's life; or
(B) ten years; and"
