                  AN ACT RELATING TO CRIMINAL LAW; ENACTING THE CRIME OF RECKLESS
                  ENDANGERMENT; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
                  This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
                  ENACTS:
                      76-5-112, Utah Code Annotated 1953
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Section 76-5-112 is enacted to read:
                      76-5-112. Reckless endangerment -- Penalty.
                      (1) A person commits reckless endangerment if, under circumstances not amounting to a
                  felony offense, the person recklessly engages in conduct that creates a substantial risk of death or
                  serious bodily injury to another person.
                      (2) Reckless endangerment is a class A misdemeanor.
