APPROPRIATION FOR STATE MILITARY
2 MUSEUM
3 1999 GENERAL SESSION

6 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $500,000 TO THE
7 DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TO BE USED TO
8 MATCH PRIVATELY RAISED FUNDS FOR A STATE MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM;
9 AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
10 This act enacts uncodified material.
11 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Appropriation.
13 Except as provided in H.B. 4, Appropriations Coordination Act, there is appropriated from
14 the General Fund for fiscal year 1999-2000, $500,000 to the Department of Community and
15 Economic Development to be used as matching funds for the establishment of a state military
16 history museum to be located in Tooele.
17 Section 2. Effective date.
18 This act takes effect on July 1, 1999.
