Mr. Speaker:

    The Judiciary Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 78, STALKING AMENDMENTS - CIVIL, by Representative L. Shurtliff, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 6, Lines 159 - 161:    Delete lines 159 - 161 and insert:
        "(4) Temporary stalking injunctions, notices of renewal, and notices of modification shall be served by a sheriff, or constable. In addition, a peace officer or law enforcement officer may serve a temporary stalking injunction, notices of renewal and notices of modification. All service shall be in accordance with applicable law."
