    The Transportation Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 115, IMPOUNDING UNINSURED MOTOR VEHICLES, by Representative P. Buckner, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 6-7:    Delete "AND" and after "RELEASE" insert "; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE"

2.    Page 3, Line 69:    After line 69 insert:
        "Section 3. Effective date.
        This act takes effect on July 1, 1999."
