    The Judiciary Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 210, FALSE STATEMENTS AT PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS, by Representative A. Tyler, with the following amendments and recommends it be considered read for the second time and placed on the Consent Calendar.

1.    Page 1, Line 16a:
    Lilac 1/21/99    After "(b)" insert "that"

2.    Page 1, Line 16a:
    Lilac 1/21/99     After "believe" delete "that the statement"

3.    Page 1, Line 17:
    Lilac 1/21/99     After "(c)" delete "prior to making the statement the person is" and insert "after having been"
