Mr. President:

    The Transportation and Public Safety Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 6, SEAT BELT LAW AMENDMENTS, by Senator R. Montgomery, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 3, Line 70:    Delete "$75" and insert "$45"
2.    Page 3, Line 72:    Reinstate "may not" and delete "shall" and reinstate "any person" and delete "a driver" and reinstate "Section" and delete "Subsection"
3.    Page 3, Line 73:    Delete "(1)"
4.    Page 3, Line 81:    After "negligence" insert "on the part of a person seeking recovery for injuries"
