Representative Wright proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 2, Line 55:    After "(iii)" insert "(A)"

2.    Page 3, Line 59:
    Committee amendments
    pink 2-17-1999    After line 59 insert:
        "(B) in accordance with Title 63, Chapter 46a, Utah Administration Rulemaking Act, the State Board of Education, in consultation with local school boards, shall make rules regarding the tests and subjects to be tested that schools would use under Subsection (3)(c)."

3.    Page 3, Line 61a:
    Committee amendments
    pink 2-17-1999    After "demographics" insert "under rules made by the State Board of Education in accordance with Title 63, Chapter 46a, Utah Administration Rulemaking Act; and
        (v) monies for performance bonus awards shall be distributed to individual schools on the basis of average daily membership."

4.    Page 3, Line 65:

5.    Page 3, Line 70:
    Committee amendments
    pink 2-17-1999    After line 70 insert:
        "(f) As used in Subsection (3), "staff" means those individuals identified in Subsection 53A-9-102(2)."
