Representative Curtis proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 9, Line 269:    After "(3)" insert "(a)"

2.     Page 9, Line 270:    After "prosecute" delete "crimes" and insert "violations of criminal statutes"

2.    Page 9, Line 272:    Delete "(a)" insert "(i)"

3.     Page 9, Line 273:    Delete "(b)" insert "(ii)"

4.    Page 9, Line 275:    Delete "(c)" insert "(iii)"

5.    Page 10, Line 278:    After line 278, insert:

        "(b) "Prosecutorial function" includes:
        (i) delinquency adjudications and adjudication of status offenses, including truancy, curfew, alcohol, and smoking, brought in juvenile court; and
        (ii) the powers granted by Title 77, Chapter 6, Removal by Judicial Proceedings."

6. Page 10, Line 294:    After line 294, insert:
        "(3) Nothing in this chapter modifies or supersedes any independent legal authority granted specifically by statute to the attorney general or to a county or district attorney."
