Representative David Ure proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 8:    After "TAX;" insert "PROVIDING FOR EXCEPTIONS;"

2.    Page 1, Line 19:    At the beginning of line 19 insert "(1)"

3.    Page 1, Line 20:    After "house." insert "(2)"

4.    Page 1, Line 21:    After "apply to" insert ": (a)" and after "authorizing" delete "or directing"

5.    Page 1, Line 22:    After "property tax" insert:

        "; and
        (b) legislation that directly imposes or increases a statewide real property tax for the purpose of paying for state debt as provided in Article XIII, Subsection 2(11)."
