             7      A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES REVISING HOUSE RULES;
             8      CHANGING THE RETIREMENT STANDING COMMITTEE TO THE
             9      QUASI-GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES STANDING COMMITTEE; MAKING TECHNICAL
             10      CHANGES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
             11      This resolution affects legislative rules as follows:
             12      AMENDS:
             13          HR-24.05
             14      Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the state of Utah:
             15          Section 1. HR-24.05 is amended to read:
             16           HR-24.05. Standing Committees.
             17          (1) The Speaker shall appoint the following standing committees:
             18          [(1)] (a) Business, Labor, and Economic Development;
             19          [(2)] (b) Education;
             20          [(3)] (c) Government Operations;
             21          [(4)] (d) Health and Human Services;
             22          [(5)] (e) House Rules (Sifting);
             23          [(6)] (f) Judiciary;
             24          [(7)] (g) Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice;
             25          [(8)] (h) Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment;
             26          [(9)] (i) Political Subdivisions;
             27          [(10)] (j) Public Utilities and Technology;


             28          [(11) Retirement;]
             29          [(12)] (k) Revenue and Taxation;
             30          [(13)] (l) Transportation; and
             31          [(14)] (m) Workforce Services.
             32          (2) The Legislative Quasi-Governmental Entities Committee created in Section 63-95-201
             33      appointed from the members of the House of Representatives constitute a standing committee.
             34          Section 2. Effective date.
             35          This resolution takes effect upon approval by a constitutional majority vote of all members
             36      of the House of Representatives.
