APPROPRIATION TO MEMORY GROVE

6 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $158,000 FROM THE
7 GENERAL FUND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC
8 DEVELOPMENT FOR MEMORY GROVE PROJECTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
9 DATE.
10 This act enacts uncodified material.
11 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Appropriation.
13 (1) Because Memory Grove is a valuable contributor to the cultural and historic
14 enrichment of the people of Utah, there is appropriated for fiscal year 2000-01 only, $158,000 from
15 the General Fund to the Department of Community and Economic Development.
16 (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that the Department of Community and Economic
17 Development distribute the $158,000 to the Memory Grove Foundation for restoration and
18 construction projects.
19 Section 2. Effective date.
20 This act takes effect on July 1, 2000.
