Mr. Speaker:

    The Judiciary Committee recommends H.B. 132, PUBLIC ACCESS TO WITNESS' TESTIMONY, by Representative L. Shurtliff, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 132, PUBLIC ACCESS TO WITNESS' TESTIMONY with the following amendments:

1.     Page 1, Line 19:    After "(2)" delete "The" and insert "If the witness testifying is under eighteen years of age, the"
2.    Page 1, Line 21:    After "(3)" delete "Before" and insert "Except as provided in Section 78-7-4, before"
3.     Page 2, Line 29:    Delete " the potential for"
    
4.     Page 2, Line 30:    Delete " the potential for" and after "witness" delete "," and insert "and"

5.     Page 2, Line 31:    Delete all of line 31 and renumber remaining section accordingly
