                  This act appropriates $250,000 to Utah State University for costs related to the Utah
                  Botanical Center. This act provides an effective date.
                  This act enacts uncodified material.
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Appropriation.
                      (1) For fiscal year 2001-02 only, there is appropriated $250,000 from the General Fund
                  to Utah State University to use for costs associated with the development and operation of the Utah
                  Botanical Center in Kaysville.
                      (2) The funds appropriated under Subsection (1) are nonlapsing.
                      Section 2. Effective date.
                      This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
