H.B. 306 Enrolled
This act appropriates $9,500 from the General Fund for fiscal year 2001-02 only, to the Utah
Department of Health for the University of Utah College of Nursing to provide for the
training and certification of 20 "SANE" (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) nurses for use
throughout the state. This act provides an effective date.
This act enacts uncodified material.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Appropriation.
(1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 2001-02 only, $9,500 to
the Utah Department of Health to provide for the training and certification of 20 "SANE" (Sexual
Assault Nurse Examiner) nurses.
(2) The appropriation under Subsection (1) will be disseminated through the Utah
Department of Health through tuition grants to the University of Utah College of Nursing.
(3) The appropriation under Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
