EIGHT HOUR WORK DAY AMENDMENTS

5 This act repeals the requirement that workers in certain industries may not work more than
6 eight hours in a day.
7 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
8 REPEALS:
9 34-21-2, as last amended by Chapter 375, Laws of Utah 1997
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Repealer.
12 This act repeals:
13 Section 34-21-2, Eight-hour day -- Smelters, mines, and related industries --
14 Exceptions.
