Mr. Speaker:

    The Education Committee recommends H.B. 34, APPLIED TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION GOVERNANCE, by Representative M. Stephens, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 34, APPLIED TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION GOVERNANCE with the following amendments:

1.    Page 6, Line 156:    After "Section" delete "53D-1-101" and insert "53D-1-102"

2.    Page 8, Line 225:    After "one" insert "business or industry" and after "by the regional board" insert "from among the business or industry members appointed to the regional board under Section 53D-2-102(1)(a)(iii)"
