Mr. Speaker:

    The Health and Human Services Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 387, NARROWING GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL OF A CHILD FROM THE HOME, by Representative M. Throckmorton, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 27:    After "include" insert "the actual conduct or substantial threat of conduct which may with a reasonable probability result in any one of the following"

2.    Page 2, Line 36:    After "mental" delete "injury" and insert "harm" and after "means" insert ": (a)"

3.    Page 2, Line 39:    After "behavior" insert "or (b) parents engaging in, or threatening the child with unreasonable conduct that causes or can reasonably be expected to cause the child emotional distress"
