         REPEAL OF NURSING FACILITIES ASSESSMENT

Representative Becky Lockhart proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 8:    After "Center" insert "and any funds remaining in the account are appropriated to the Department of Human Services to fund the Division of Services to People With Disabilities critical needs waiting list"

2.    Page 5, Line 138:    After "(1)" insert "(a)"

3.    Page 5, Line 141:    Delete "(2)" and insert "(b)"

4.    Page 5, Line 143:    Delete "(3) Any" and insert "(2)(a) There is appropriated from the Nursing Facilities Account within the General Fund for fiscal year 2001-02 only, any"

5.    Page 5, Line 144:    After "2001" delete "shall lapse into the General Fund" and insert "to the Department of Human Services.
        (b) It is the intent of the Legislature that the appropriation in Subsection (2)(a) shall be used to fund the Division for Services to People with Disabilities critical needs waiting list."
