                  This act approves fees levied by the Department of Commerce that were approved by the
                  Commerce and Revenue Appropriations Subcommittee during the 2001 Annual General
                  Session but that, through clerical error, were not included in the Appropriations Act for
                  approval by the entire Legislature. This act takes effect immediately.
                  This act enacts uncodified material.
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Department of Commerce fee approval.
                      Under the terms and conditions of Section 63-38-3.2, the following fees are approved for
                  the use and support of the government of the State of Utah for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
                  2001 and ending June 30, 2002.
                      Department of Commerce
                      In accordance with Subsection 13-1-2(3), the following fees are approved for the services
                  of the Commerce Department for FY 2002.
                      Commerce Department (All Divisions):
                      UBC Surcharge (statute)
                          Building Permit surcharge (statute) ...................................................variable

                          Inactive/Reactivation/Emeritus License.............................................$50
                          Temporary License.............................................................................$50

                      Section 2. Effective date.


                      If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this act takes effect upon
                  approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah Constitution
                  Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto, the date of veto
                  override.
